Hominy Ridge of Salamonie      Great Depression  Civilian Conservation Corps   Credits  Site Map Quiz	Welcome!  While you are traveling through time on this site you will discover how people in the past and in the present worked together to solve problems.  This site tells how the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) built the Hominy Ridge Picnic Shelter in the 1930s.  Many years later the Hominy Ridge Picnic Shelter was vandalized and was recently rebuilt by a group of volunteers.
