Research Trip to the Wabash Carnegie Library

For instance, we had to learn how to use Fireworks, Power Point, and Composer. To find some information for this project we went to the Wabash Carnegie Library. We learned to use computers and the vertical files at the library. We learned to do research on the Internet. We had guests come to speak to us about the lighting from what they know from research.
		Anna Marie and Katy look for information in Century of Light Wabash, Indiana.
	Alyssa and Acacia look for books on the computers.
		Rollen, Meredith, Mikala, and Alyssa look for facts on a microfilm reader. We looked at 1880 Plain Dealer newspapers. We printed some pages to use in our project.
	Raleigh and Isaac read different papers to get information. The papers were from the vertical file.
		Cody highlights different information.
	Wyatt looks for files that have facts from the vertical files.
		Bryce and Derek look for books on the history of Wabash.
	Rollen works on a picture he's been making for our web page. Rollen had to be able to draw and color his picture.
		Alyssa learns to use Power Point to make sideshows for the project. (She's good!)
	Mikala types a quiz for Cody.
		Mikala helps Anna Marie on the computer.
	Katy checks out her quiz from the Arc Light page.
		Wyatt learns to use Fireworks to make titles for our pages.
	Meredith saves a project she's been working on.
		Katy helps Connor fix his grammar on his page.
	Michael looks over Alyssa's slideshow.
		Michael scans a newspaper article. All of the photos on this page were taken by the Fourth Grade Quest class.
