I teach because I love working with students! I love seeing them learn, grow, and become the best they can be. I hope when students leave my classroom they have not only gained knowledge, but they have also learned how important it is to be kind and caring too! Thank you for letting me be a part of your child's education and helping to mold them into compassionate kind-hearted learners. |

I hope that I have taught them as much as they have taught me. I am thankful that I can be a small part of their life. |

Teaching is a job that I love; I couldn't see myself doing anything else. I get such a joy out of seeing a student that is successful in their learning, I am inspired by the students that I am working with daily. They are what make me love coming to work every day. I hope to change lives one child at a time by letting students know I care, and in return I find that my life is changed too!! |

I teach to reach children and watch them grow and develop. I want to instill in them that with hard work, they can accomplish much in their lives. As an added bonus, teaching allows me to continue learning each day! |

Why do I do what I do, teach? It is because I want to help to the best of my ability all students no matter what challenges that they may face to be as successful as they can possibly be in life. |

It is through creative experiences that we can understand the power of knowing that our own hands, heart, and mind can bring something into existence in this big, big world that wasn't here before. My passion is providing those creative experiences and revealing to my students their own power for creating new, original things in their world. |

As Jennifer Dukes Lee said, "In a world where you can be anything, be kind!"
I became a Speech Language Pathologist in the school setting to become a positive, kind influence in the lives of children around me. My goal is to give them confidence, letting them know that they are important and that they matter. As a SLP my purpose is to give children a voice in a world that may otherwise be silent. Communication is vital in everyday life and by establishing exquisite communication skills now, we are preparing our future for exquisite leaders.I want these children to see that they are perfect in their own ways and that comparing themselves to others is unfair. May each child that walks through my door know that they are loved and cared for far beyond these four walls. My "why" becomes much more than the language/articulation skills that I teach. My WHY becomes instilling confidence and purpose in each of my children! |

As a student, I was lucky enough to have the best teachers guide me throughout my academic career. Each one of them pushed me to live up to my potential, not only as a student but as an individual. My "why" stems from their influences, I would like to return the favor that they all gave to me - to inspire students to live up to their own potential and to try their best to be a good person. |

Over the years I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with many students. My main goal has always been to make a positive difference in their lives. I want them to know that they do matter and I consider it an honor when I get to pass on my love for knowledge and learning to the next generation. |

Growing up with a family of educators I saw the impact that teachers had on student’s lives. I witnessed how important a teacher is to others not only academically but emotionally. I became an educator because of this. I want to provide each and every student I teach with a safe learning environment where they feel loved and cared about. I want them to feel like they mean something, that they know they are important to me. I teach because I want my students to learn responsibility and become good successful leaders. I teach because kids matter to me. |
Saunders, Allyson Teacher 260-563-8050 |
I teach because I want students to know they will always have someone who is there for them. I want students to know that when they walk into my classroom they are loved and become one of my “kids.” I will be there to support them and help them in any way I can. Once a student. Always a student. |

I love to teach because I want my students to know I love and want the best for each of them. I love being a reading teacher because reading can change a student's life and let them go on lots of adventure. It is great seeing smiles on the students faces when they are successful with something that has been a challenge. |

School should be a safe place for kids to come and learn, interact with others, feel good about themselves and also have an adult that they can count on to be there for them whenever they need someone. I want to be that person. It is the best feeling when kids see you and they smile and remember something that you told them or a story that they remember about you. Hopefully, my students (my school kids) know they are cared for and loved when leaving my room. |

I teach because it matters. It matters to my students, their parents, our school, and our community. Education is a force that can produce positive change, and I consider it a privilege to be part of that constant force in Wabash County. |
